(Lake Mills, WI) Aztalan Engineering has installed a new Tsugami SS32, a 32mm capacity Swiss lathe.
“We are continuing to acquire equipment for our Swiss turning cell to give us the capability to serve our customers from micro-machining up to 32mm parts that need the sophistication, speed, and precision of Swiss turning technology,” explained Kirk Kussman, Aztalan Engineering’s Sales & Marketing Director.
The new Tsugami SS32 is an opposed gang tool machine with a modular tool zone enabling simultaneous operation of the main and sub spindles, 21 tool stations, and 320mm of stroke to handle long parts. The machine is designed to make small complex parts.
