Position: Deburrer

Hours: First Shift: Monday-Friday, 6am-2pm

Location: Lake Mills, WI

Wage Range: $13.00/hour

Our Key Requirements:

  • Inspect and deburr parts
  • Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools and materials
  • Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies
  • Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs
  • Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Other duties may be assigned

  • This position requires experience with inspection tools.
  • Must have solid problem-solving skills, good written and verbal communication skills, and good interpersonal skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Position: Machine Operator

Hours: First Shift: Monday-Friday, 6am-2pm; Second Shift: Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday, 1:45pm-11:45pm

Location: Lake Mills, WI

Wage Range: Depends on skill level and experience.

Our Key Requirements:

  • Responsible for inspection and production of precision machined parts on various CNC lathes and milling machines
  • Run part programs on various CNC machines
  • Change tools and continue running the machine with minimal help
  • Use tradition inspection tools to verify part dimensions
  • Use CMMs, surface measuring equipment and optical inspection equipment to verify part dimensions
  • Read and accurately interpret part prints
  • Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Other duties may be assigned

Our Qualifications and Requirements:

  • This position requires in-depth experience gained by schooling, training and on-the-job experience necessary to operate machining centers, vertical mills and single and twin spindle lathes.
  • Must have some experience in using traditional inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, indicators), and surface plate inspection methods (using gauge blocks, indicators, etc.).
  • Computer skills must be sufficient to operate computerized controls with pre-programmed software systems.
  • Must have fundamental math skills.
  • Must have solid problem-solving skills, good written and verbal communication skills, and good interpersonal skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Job Opening: Quality Technician

Position: Quality Technician

Hours: Second Shift: Monday – Friday, 2pm – 10pm

Location: Lake Mills, WI

Wage Range: Depends on skill level and experience.

Our Key Requirements:

  • Create and maintain CMM / SmartScope programs / fixturing
  • Create and maintain specific work instructions to support manufacturing operations
  • Liaison to customers in new part development and drawing interpretation
  • Update old measurement programs
  • Create and maintain manufacturing and inspection work instructions
  • Support inspection personnel and processes
  • Support machinists and shop floor personnel
  • Support machine tool programmers with interpretation of GD&T specifications
  • Work with machinists to prove out new parts and/or prototypes
  • Participate in New Part meetings
  • Other duties as assigned

Our Qualifications and Requirements:

  • This position requires an understanding of CMM programming, GD&T tolerancing, machining, and processes that go along with manufacturing.
  • Proficient in CMM programming software.
  • Proficient in Solidworks or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Quality Management System tools, continuous improvement methods, quality control and statistical techniques.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two or more years in CMM programming experience preferred.
  • Three or more years of experience in a machine shop or similar manufacturing environment.
  • Experience using traditional inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, indicators), surface plate inspection methods (using gage blocks, indicators, sine bars), and using a CMM.

Position: CNC Machinist

Hours: First Shift: 6am – 2pm (Monday – Friday); Second Shift: 1:45pm – 11:45pm (Monday – Thursday or Tuesday – Friday); Third Shift: 10pm – 6am (Monday – Friday)

  • Ability to read, interpret, and edit machine code – Preferred
  • CNC Machining experience
  • Capable of calculating and adjusting tool speeds & feeds to match machining conditions
  • Knowledge of cutting tools, their application, and various grades and designations
  • Knowledge of and ability to use tradition inspection tools to verify part dimensions
  • Ability to use CMMs, surface measuring equipment, and optical inspection equipment to verify part dimensions’
  • Ability to read and accurately interpret part prints and Geometric Tolerancing
  • Ability to make recommendations for process improvement
  • Solid problem solving skills
  • Ability to use standard shop math and trigonometric functions
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area
