Job Opening: CNC Operator

Position: Operator

Hours: Second Shift; Monday – Thursday from 1:45pm – 11:45pm

Location: Lake Mills, WI

Wage Range: Depends on skill level and experience.

Our Key Requirements:

  • Capable of running part programs on various CNC machines
  • Ability to change tools and continue running machines with minimal help
  • Knowledge of and ability to use tradition inspection tools to verify part dimensions
  • Ability to use CMMs, surface measuring equipment and optical inspection equipment to verify part dimensions
  • Ability to read and accurately interpret part prints
  • Solid problem solving skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Other duties as assigned

Our Qualifications and Tool Requirements:

In-depth experience gained by schooling, training and on-the-job experience necessary to operate machining centers, vertical mills and single and twin spindle lathes. Computer skills must be sufficient to operate computerized controls with pre-programmed software systems. Generally requires two or more years of CNC Machine Operator experience or equivalent education/training. Must have some experience in using traditional inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, indicators) and surface plate inspection methods (using gauge blocks, indicators, etc).

Must have a valid drivers license.

High School Diploma/GED/HSED is required.

Job Opening: Machinist

Position: Machinist

Hours: Second Shift; Monday – Thursday from 1:45pm – 11:45pm

Location: Lake Mills, WI

This position is responsible for inspection, and production of precision machined parts on various CNC lathes and milling machines.

Wage Range: Depends on skill level and experience.

Our Key Requirements:

  • Ability to read, interpret, and edit machine code – Preferred
  • CNC Machining experience
  • Capable of calculating and adjusting tool speeds & feeds to match machining conditions
  • Knowledge of cutting tools, their application, and various grades and designations
  • Knowledge of and ability to use tradition inspection tools to verify part dimensions
  • Ability to use CMMs, surface measuring equipment, and optical inspection equipment to verify part dimensions’
  • Ability to read and accurately interpret part prints and Geometric Tolerancing
  • Ability to make recommendations for process improvement
  • Solid problem solving skills
  • Ability to use standard shop math and trigonometric functions
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Duties will change as dictated by product demand and customer specifications.  Other duties may be assigned.

Job Opening: General Assembler

Position: Assembler

Hours: Second Shift; Monday – Thursday from 1:45pm – 11:45pm

Location: Lake Mills, WI

Our Key Requirements:

  • Deburring
  • Produces components by assembling parts and sub-assemblies
  • Inspect parts
  • Clean and package parts to specifications
  • Perform assembly operations such as brazing, lapping and bead blasting
  • Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications and parts lists; gathering parts, sub-assemblies, tools and materials
  • Positions parts and sub-assemblies by using templates or reading measurements
  • Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts
  • Verifies specifications by measuring completed component
  • Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; obtain additional resources when needed
  • Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment
  • Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies
  • Documents actions by completing production and quality forms
  • Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related results
  • Other duties as assigned

Controls and Instrumentation, General Equipment Maintenance, Manufacturing Experience, Manufacturing Quality, Mechanical Inspection Tools, Tooling, Safety, Quality Focus, Power Tools, Decision Making, Blue Print Reading, Basic Computer Skills.
