Position: Quality Engineer

Hours: First Shift (Monday – Friday)  7:30am – 3:30pm

Location: Lake Mills, WI

  • This position provides Quality Engineering support for new or revised parts and/or processes; supports Quality department initiatives and tasks; assists with maintaining the Quality Management System; assists with problem solving and continual improvement activities.

Wage Range: $50,000/year – $55,000/year depending on skill level and experience. (Exempt Position)

 Our Key Requirements

  • Provide Quality Engineering support during the introduction of new or revised parts and/or processes
  • Monitor product quality, identify sources of quality problems, and facilitate corrective action solutions
  • Plan, implement, and coordinate studies for quality process improvements and cost reductions utilizing appropriate statistical methods/quality tools
  • Create and maintain manufacturing and inspection work instructions
  • Support Inspection personnel and processes
  • Support machinists and shop floor personnel
  • Work with machinists to prove out new parts and/or prototypes
  • Participate in New Part Meetings
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Opening: CNC Machinists

Position: CNC Machinist

Hours: Second Shift

Location: Lake Mills, WI

This position is responsible for inspection, and production of precision machined parts on various CNC lathes and milling machines.

Wage Range: Depends on skill level and experience.

Our Key Requirements

  • Ability to read, interpret, and edit machine code – Preferred
  • CNC Machining experience
  • Capable of calculating and adjusting tool speeds & feeds to match machining conditions
  • Knowledge of cutting tools, their application, and various grades and designations
  • Knowledge of and ability to use tradition inspection tools to verify part dimensions
  • Ability to use CMMs, surface measuring equipment, and optical inspection equipment to verify part dimensions’
  • Ability to read and accurately interpret part prints and Geometric Tolerancing
  • Ability to make recommendations for process improvement
  • Solid problem solving skills
  • Ability to use standard shop math and trigonometric functions
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Good interpersonal skills

Position: CNC Operators

Hours: Second Shift

Location: Lake Mills, WI

  • Ability to change tools and continue running the machine with minimal help
  • Knowledge of and ability to use tradition inspection tools to verify part dimensions
  • Ability to use CMMs, surface measuring equipment, and optical inspection equipment to verify part dimensions
  • Ability to read and accurately interpret part prints
  • Solid problem solving skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Machine Operator operates machines as directed by supervisor.  The work is spot-checked in progress and upon completion for compliance with part print, instructions and established procedures.

Job Opening: Programmer – Esprit / SolidWorks

Position: Programmer – Esprit / SolidWorks

Hours: First Shift (Monday – Friday)  8:00am – 4:00pm

Location: Lake Mills, WI

The purpose of this position is to create, maintain, support CNC programs, as well as to create and maintain specific work instructions to support the machining operations.  This position will also be instrumental in supporting machinists with various problems with programs and processes.

Wage Range: $55,000/year – $80,000/year depending on skill level and experience. (Exempt Position)

 Our Key Requirements

  • Create and maintain CNC programs using Esprit software
  • Create and maintain machine set-up sheets and program revision history
  • Assist in set-up and prove out of new CNC programs using Esprit
  • Support machinists with problem solving and troubleshoot Esprit programs as needed
  • Design and be able to pick out proper tooling for new and current programs
  • Continually look for process improvement, cycle time reduction, and set-up time reduction
  • Attend New Part Meetings, Pre-Production Meetings, and Programmer Meetings
  • Deliver completed CNC programs to workcells as needed and on time in order to meet customer requirements
  • Update old CNC programs using Esprit
  • Participate in workcell team building and lean efforts
  • Other duties as assigned
