Aztalan Engineering, Inc. Adds New Twin Spindle Turning Capability
Lake Mills, WI) Aztalan Engineering announced the installation of a new Okuma Twin Star LT 2000 EX -- Okuma’s latest opposed Twin Spindle turning center in the 6-inch chuck class. The new equipment features two 16-station turrets with multifunction bolt-on tool holders for superior rigidity and live tooling on the Y axis. In addition, Okuma’s Thermo-Friendly is a structurally designed, thermal deformation compensation system that provides astonishing machining accuracy.
"Okuma's new machine reduces set-ups with its increased tool capacity and processes parts faster with a higher degree of stability," explained Michael Nebel, Aztalan Engineering’s Production Manager.
