What is Ultrasonic Cleaning?

Ultrasonic cleaning uses high-frequency sound waves generated by an external transducer unit.

1. The sound waves form bubbles only microns in size, in a de-ionized water solution.
2. The bubbles slowly increase in size until they are big enough to reach the resonant frequency of the transducer.
3. The bubbles then implode near the surface of the part at high pressure. These bubbles are micro-cavitations and are not visible to the human eye. This process blasts oil, residue, and grime off of the parts.
