CNC Milling

Aztalan provides horizontal and vertical milling services. Our CNC machine technicians reach maximum vibration damping, limiting friction to achieve tighter tolerances and reduced part cycle times for Ohio. Aztalan milled parts are used in medical device advancements.

CNC Turning

Single and twin spindle CNC lathes with varying axis strengths handle bulky workpieces, as well as fragile parts. Aztalan turning services offer both horizontal and vertical machine configurations to maintain accurate tolerances for any Ohio design.

CNC Swiss Turning

CNC Swiss turning continues to progress technologically for more power, flexibility and efficiency. Aztalan Swiss lathe operators produce high-volume orders starting at 2,000 pieces. Tsugami Swiss lathes navigate fine parts and are ideal for creating prototypes. Lights out machining capabilities cut run times for extended lots without losing accuracy. We make medical devices including oncology instruments, ventricle assist devices (VADs) and Lasik surgery blades.

Soldering & Brazing

Aztalan full-service manufacturing includes soldering and brazing. We have a variety of materials and fluxes to to join brass to brass, brass to stainless steel and stainless steel to stainless steel. Contact us for more soldering options.

Engineering Support

Aztalan does not design parts from the initial concept, but we do have manufacturing engineers on staff to collaborate with your design team. By developing a thorough understanding of client goals, we get products on the market faster.

Ultrasonic Cleaning:

Ultrasonic cleaning uses high-frequency sound waves generated by an external transducer. The sound waves form micron-sized bubbles in a de-ionized water solution. The bubbles slowly increase until they reach the resonant frequency of the transducer. They then implode near the surface on a very small scale. Ultrasonic cleaning is the most effective cleaning process for metal parts, removing microscopic details typically missed by alternative methods.

Assembly

Aztalan offers our state-of-the-art facility for the assembly of Ohio machined parts. We have the equipment and dedicated labor to assemble any product, no matter the size. Each part is cleaned in an ultrasonic bath before assembly. 

CMM Quality Control

Quality control is the responsibility of every Aztalan employee. Our process control and Quality Management System keep us operating efficiently through each step of production. CMM metrology solutions paired with our CNC manufacturing capabilities uncover flaws in location and accuracy on difficult-to-reach part dimensions.
